Chewy & Flexi Midge Larva

DESCRIPTION: Midges are abundant anywhere and needs counted as main dish of trout any time of the year. Especially in Livingston's fabled spring creeks, midge larvae are taken by trout as naturally as they breathe! Then those trout always request new fly patterns. There I came across this handy material from Hareline (; Life Flex. There are many more ways and ideas to explore with this material. So far I came up with a couple of successful patterns that have been proven at Livingston's spring creeks and Yellowstone River.

Chewy Midge Larva

Flexi Midge Larva
Why named so? Because, with this tying method, entire length can be modified while fishing = flexible length!!

Fishing these under an indicator is a way to go but also I love to challenge Sight-Fishing to visually cruising/feeding trout in an up-close-personal distance!! = AKA "Dapping"!!

PRICE: $2.25 each
SIZE: 18, 20, 22 are available for both patterns.
