ZAC Fry

DESCRIPTION: ZAC stands for "Zonked And Chomped" because squirrel zonker makes this little dude looks like someone badly drunk and then eaten by trout with cartoonish sounds of "CHOMP!!" I have designed this exclusively for spring-creeks around here. But it's been showing positive results at nearby big rivers. Not just with typical streamer methods, but also it can be fished under indicator. Indeed this is "French Fry" for trout!!

There colors are super effective at Livingston's spring creeks. I will add more colors as I come up with.

S-Y PMD Soft-Hackle

DESCRIPTION: Do I need to describe famous & all-time discussed PMD hatch at Livingston's spring creeks? It's too much for this space......... I'd love to discuss with you any time but not at here (call or email me any time!). Anyway - long story short - I created another successful pattern. I can't emphasize how curious (even vulnerable) trout can be for new patterns at spring creeks. Not just at Livingston's spring creeks, try at your local spring creeks!

(Apparently I didn't come up with some "catchy" names for this one............)
SIZE: 16 & 18
PRICE: $2.25 each
TYING INSTRUCTION available in Word File and a video can be found in my YouTube Channel.

Sparkle Crane Larva

DESCRIPTION: Cranefly larva is one of underestimated food-sources at spring creeks. I've been collecting them by kick-seining and stomach-pumping. Trout love them!! There are only a few patterns in the market. I experimented a couple of my idea at DePuy Spring Creek and these two colors helped me prove that I was on a right track. Either resident or spawning runner, trout munched on them with delight!!

Dirty Olive
Tan

Here's the recent pump result!!

This was probably the 5th cast of the day and first trout of the day!!

This nice brown tried to inhale it!!
That was the very last fish of 2012!!
SIZE: 4, 6, 8
PRICE: $2.25 each
TYING INSTRUCTION available in a Word File and can be found in my YouTube channel.
